Good medium ruby. Blackberry and licorice on the nose. Sweet, dense and concentrated, with brooding flavors of crushed dark berries, black cherry, shoe polish and dark chocolate nicely framed by healthy acids. A bit energetically extracted yet nicely aromatic in the mouth. Has the stuffing to buffer its dusty tannins.
