A moderately high-pitched nose of blue and red berry notes, earth and hints of spice and game combine with a hint of wood spice on the rich, full and supple flavors that are delicious, sweet and detailed, all wrapped in a finish that displays ample minerality on the balanced, harmonious, powerful, sappy and persistent finish. An excellent '06 and very Lavaut in character and is blessed with excellent underlying material.
