Pascal Soulas and Gilles Soulas, brothers who were not born vine growers but farmers, have long owned the Arcade estate, cultivating vines in Languedoc. Closely tied to the Vaillé brothers of Grange des Pères, sharing their discreet and humble approach, Pascal and Gilles decided in the 2010s to take over the vineyard and produce Languedoc AOP wines. The 2016 vintage marked the first release from Bergerie de l'Arcade, and the Soulas brothers’ wines have already garnered quiet attention and significant interest from pioneering wine enthusiasts.
 
Domaine la Bergerie de l'Arcade produces only 3,000 bottles per vintage, primarily crafted from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and a touch of Mourvèdre. The wines are aged for 12 months in oak barrels, followed by 10 months in large vats. Through meticulous vineyard management, Bergerie de l'Arcade maintains an extremely low profile in the market.
