The 2006 Brunello di Montalcino emerges from the glass with a finely knit bouquet of tobacco, sweet herbs, licorice, leather and red cherries. The wine shows lovely depth, richness and polish in its engaging personality. The warm radiance of the fruit flows through effortlessly to the long, creamy finish. This is a terrific effort from Col d’Orcia.
